Stress Reduction Coaching Identify simple ways that you may able to manage stress by adding things into your life, taking things out, or doing things differently. If you struggle with Anxiety, Depression, or PTSD this will be especially helpful for you. The basics of stress management comes down to three things. 1) Sleep Are you getting the optimal amount of sleep for you? Do you have good sleep hygiene? Is the way you sleep compromising your health? 2) "Relaxation" Activities What are you doing to "recharge" your batteries and nourish yourself? Are you doing these often enough or too much? 3) "Expression" Activities What are you doing to get your stress and feelings out? Are you doing these often enough or too much? COACHING RATES: For your first session, I offer a free 30 minute telephone/skype or sit down session. Follow-up sessions are $10/15 minutes (or $40/hour). |
Relaxation Massage and Body Therapy
Get a massage simply for relaxation or to deal with a stressful medical condition or injury. I specialize in working with Anxiety/Depression, extreme stress conditions, pain management, PTSD, Abdominal Distress, Post-Surgical Recovery, Athletic Injury, and Postural Correction. I practice a blend of Swedish Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, TuiNa, Shiatsu, Reiki, Cranio-Sacral, Intuitive Energy Healing, Muscular Trauma Release Technique, and Myofascial Release. Mindfulness and Meditation for Beginners
Mindfulness is the process of being aware. Meditation is the process of being mindful of yourself. Learn about both with practice sessions, tips and tricks, and different ways of being both mindful and how to meditate. I like to meditate sitting on the floor, so I usually encourage people to bring a pillow, or stool, or a few blankets to sit on. People are always welcome to sit on chairs too.
3-5 minute- singing bowls and intros
10-20 minutes guided meditation
15-20 minutes rotating discussion topics on how to meditate, different types of meditation, etc
10-20 minutes meditation to music
